LA Live

Project Summary

Formerly the Nokia Plaza, the Microsoft Theater and LA Live West Garage was retrofitted with AirTest sensors to establish a DCV (Demand Control Ventilation) system. DCV is extremely effective at reducing the energy consumption of parking garages while maintaining air quality standards. In this 139,350 sq/m facility there were 200 AirTest TR2000-Lon Transmitters, and 20 VFDs installed. After installation we recorded a 90.2% reduction in annual operational savings, and a reduction of 113,300 kg of greenhouse gasses. On this large installation the payback period was 2.8 years.
