Grace Cathedral

This beautiful church in San Francisco was able to save 93% annually on the cost of ventilating their parking garage after installing AirTest DCV (Demand Control Ventilation). The parking facility has a 40hp fan capacity and is 4,180 sq/m in size. After installing 6 AirTest TR2000 CO Transmitters, an AirTest CN7216 Controller, and 2 VFDs the parking facility shed 55,900 kWh of annual energy consumption. This means an annual reduction of 34,100kg of greenhouse gasses. The payback period on this project, based on energy savings, was 3 years.

924 Westwood Blvd.

Located at 924 Westwood Blvd. in Westwood, California this 13,000 sq/m underground parking facility was consuming 107,874 kWh per year. AirTest products were installed to save an incredible 89% annually on energy consumption. Rebates covered a significant portion of the installation and allowed for a payback period of under 6 months. 26 AirTest TR2000-Lon Transmitters, an AirTest CN8000 Controller, and 1 VFD were installed at this location.

Ikea

IKEA was interested in achieving Silver LEED certification in some of their new locations and chose AirTest Demand Control Ventilation as a part of their approach. AirTest CO2 transmitters were installed in 12 new locations. Results were very positive with a total reduction of energy consumption and its related costs by over 50%. Demand Control Ventilation is a cost effective, simple solution to reduce wasted energy in HVAC systems. One AirTest transmitter was installed to each RTU for a total of about 48 sensors per store covering 3.5 sq/m. The energy payback was under 2 years.

LA Live

Formerly the Nokia Plaza, the Microsoft Theater and LA Live West Garage was retrofitted with AirTest sensors to establish a DCV (Demand Control Ventilation) system. DCV is extremely effective at reducing the energy consumption of parking garages while maintaining air quality standards. In this 139,350 sq/m facility there were 200 AirTest TR2000-Lon Transmitters, and 20 VFDs installed. After installation we recorded a 90.2% reduction in annual operational savings, and a reduction of 113,300 kg of greenhouse gasses. On this large installation the payback period was 2.8 years.
